The project involved preparing the concrete subfloor in hospital bedrooms for the installation of new commercial vinyl flooring. This required extensive floor grinding to remove residual glue and any existing floor preparation materials. Our team utilised specialised equipment to meticulously grind the surface, ensuring all remnants were effectively removed and the subfloor was left clean and smooth.
Following the grinding process, we conducted a thorough inspection to identify any remaining uneven areas. We then applied a high-quality floor levelling compound to create a perfectly flat and even subfloor. This step was crucial to ensure the new vinyl flooring would be installed seamlessly and perform optimally in the demanding hospital environment.
With the subfloor expertly prepared, we proceeded with the installation of the commercial vinyl. The result was a durable, hygienic, and visually appealing flooring solution, tailored to meet the specific needs of the hospital setting, providing both functionality and comfort for patients and staff.
